Climate Control International LLC is honored to welcome Bob Jones, President of Florida Fisheries Foundation to the CCI family.
Co-author of SFA Seafood Product Quality Code, past president of Florida Agriculture Commissioner Bronson’s Food Safety Task Force, past member of USCG Advisory Committee, appointed by Secretary Tom Ridge, past Chairman of the Gulf of Mexico Fisheries Management Council Member, United States Environmental Protection Agency’s, Gulf of Mexico Initiative CAC, Bob recently retired from the Southeastern Fisheries Association and is now President of the Florida Fisheries Foundation. Bob has been actively working on behalf of the seafood safety industry helping hundreds of fish businesses with regulatory issues since 1997.
Concentrating on teaching proper handling of all fishery products from harvest to the consumer, he has certified over 1200 seafood industry employees in FDA’s Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points program (HACCP) with special emphasis on receiving product, maintaining required sanitation, and required contemporaneous recordkeeping.
Bob has pioneered a simple and effective course training to help seafood businesses earn their mandatory Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point cGMP-Part B required FDA certification for the seafood industry.
